Switch from small map to fullscreen map.

Does this extension support the ability to go from a small map to a full screen version of the same map and back again?

No. You can only create different page to full screen map and create link to it from main map

Could you add a 'fullscreen' button to the navigation so that the map opens fullscreen in a lightbox like this (See example 4)

i solved that one my site by inserting a button under the map - inside the footer html-blog - in map details, linking to a menü-item which displays the map in fullscreen mode.

Maybe you need to set some different css-rules by selecting a other template than your standard.

Or you could create a article-item, inserting {zhgooglemap:1;6;SATELLITE;0;0} to display the map in fullscreen-mode and use something like nonumber! modalizer
to display the article as modalbox.
