Hi
Try to use default joomla text editor (for example, TinyMCE).
I'm recovering my demo site (pure installation), and now I tested plugin call, and all is OK.

I can only suggest two methods of fixing problem. Ie - find what cause to it.
1 - you can analyze your server logs for case what internal error is, what is caused, probably you'll see what code tries to do something wrong.
2 - it is more easy, but need some time. I think you have active system plugin, which executed on save and cause this error. I suggest one by one disable system plugins (which is not joomla's build in).
I think the second method can help to find out what system plugin (which you install separately, may be from template, or the other) cause this error.
