Hi,
I have a map with 1 base map (google) and 4 Tiled overlay maps (all the same but with differing opacities). When I set these Maptypes to 'Map' they show as a selectable Map Type however there is no base map underneath. If I set these 4 Maptypes to 'Overlay' they vanish from the Map type selection.
Is there anything I can do to have 1 base map with 4 tiled overlays that are selectable one at time to overlay over the base map ?
Regards,
Dave

Hi Dave.
I'm not clear understand you.
Lets I try to explain custom map types.
To include your map type in map type selector you should:
- enable map type selector
- enable custom map types (in map details, field "Allow Custom Map Types")
- write map type IDs in custom map types, separated by comma (field "Custom Map Types List")
And for layers
- if you set it to map - you'll get only your tiles.
- if you set overlay - you'll get your tiles, and when you haven't tiles - you'll get main google tiles.

Hi Dima,
Thanks for the quick response. So are you saying that you cant specify Overlay maps as Maptypes ? If I set to 'Map" I can see MapType selector but if I specify as 'Overlay' the maptype selector vanishes.
Please see screenshots attached.

Dave

Aha. I understand you.
Yes, if you set Overlay type, you can't see it in map type selector for this layer, but space where you haven't map tiles will be filled by default google's map tiles. And you can't control to show/hide/change this overlay.
I have plans to add slider for overlay map types to control opacity of layer. I think in nearest future I'll do that.
And for my feature to display ground overlays (in paths you can configure to show image on map, like map type) I'll add ability to manage (how/hide) it by group list too.
