OK.
I managed to do as you told me, and got rid of that error.
I have no interest in making custom maps at the moment
I do get another error now though.
Uncaught syntax error in the code near
directionsService.route(directionsRequest1, function(result, status) {
if (status == google.maps.DirectionsStatus.OK) {
directionsDisplay1.setDirections(result);
}

I found a lot of weird stuff going on in my installation, so i uninstalled and reinstalled.
Now i can see a map, and will continue tomorrow on modify settings to make it work.
