Group Permissions was created by sanax
I did some research but it seems to I'm not getting a solution.

I would like a certain group to have only access to certain placemarks on one global map. How can I do this?

In other words, I would like guests to see only 2 sets of placemarks and registered users can see all the rest of the placemarks

TIA

Hi.
Just set for placemark access level (Placemark Details -> Appearance properties -> Access)
After that enable filter in map details (Map Details -> Advanced options -> Placemark Filter, set it to "Show placemarks using ACL")

Thanks Dima

Where do I find the Placemark and Map "details"?

If I'm correct, the "Access" will be in each placemark? In other words I will have to set the access level in each placemark? What if you have more than a 1000 placemarks? Will I have to set the access in each placemark?

Not sure if it's possible, but to gave an "Access" option within each group? This way it will be easier to control an entire group of placemarks?

TIA

Details - it is when you open it.
For example, edit placemark, you can see its details.

If you have lots of placemarks you can easy update placemarks by SQL clause.
For example,
update...
set access =...
where group_id =...

Thank you, Dima

I got a work around by make a duplicate of the map and then change the group IDs. Give access to users via a menu item
