Probably, you are using joomla 2.5. This error exists and you can't fix it.
Just use joomla version 4/5/6
If you want to stay with 2.5 and I can see you try to show OSM map, and if you didn't use route ability (show route to your place) you can use my extension for OpenStreetMap and you can import data from my extension for Google Maps

Sorry for delay.
It can be fixed only to use Joomla 5 or 6
It can't be fixed to use Google Maps API with Joomla less version than 5

Upgraded site to Joomla 5.4
Still not loading. When I open the page, it tries to open but then shows the same error message.

In console I can see error.
Just search google "google maps error RefererNotAllowedMapError"
I think you need alter your Maps API key for using in your subdomain
