Contacts Integration

I am trying to use Contact Integration with Joomla 2.5. When I link the placemark to the contact, no address information is transferred. I have many contacts. I thought the location information would be pulled from the contact data. If I have to cut and paste all the contact info into the placemark manually, what is the point of contact integration? I must be missing something.

What I would like is to link the map to an entire contact group and automatically pull each contact info into the appropriate placemark. How can this be done?

I also would like to show the contact webpage. I have tried webpage or website in the Contact Details, but they don't work. What is the proper keyword?

I don't load (transfer) data from contact to my extension. Yet , may be it will in future.

Today you can enable contact integration on map.
Then you can create placemark, and assign it a contact. And enter what data from contact will be displayed in infowin content.

In my docs

Contact Details
You can enter names of attributes to show. Separator is ;

Acceptable values

name
position
address
city
suburb
state
province
country
postcode
zipcode
phone
mobile
fax
email

You can enter it in any order, and by it the contact will be shown.

Note: postcode and zipcode – it is the same field, but different labels will be.

Check contact fields, and you'll see this pairs: City or Suburb, State or Province, Postal / ZIP Code


For example: position;name;mobile

to show position, contact name and mobile phone

As for website - I didn't get it from contact, because the site field is exists in placemark. But if you need - in next release I can add this too

By default (empty field) - it is name,position,address,phone,mobile,fax,email

I mean, contact integration - it is displaying contact data in infowindow, but not getting text address from contact and creating placemark on it.

About link to contact page.
You want to show link in infowin and click to show contact page? If yes, I need to check - can I create URL to display single contact page. An if I can - I can create this option.
In any case, if you have this URL - you can enter in placemark Site URL and it will be supported. It is not automatically, but can done

I would like to pull in the contact website field for the infowindow.

Would be great to pull in contact address info to automatically geocode placemarks, but I'm sure that's difficult and may have some API issues.

Linking to the single contact page would be nice as well.
