geolocalisation was created by UserB
Hi,
the component / module is great, I just can't get the direction to work directly from geolocalisation :
I have the geocoding on and working on a click but what I would really need is the geolocalisation / directions working straight on. The user is going on the page, he's geolocated and the component is giving him the direction to go to XXX XXX form where he/she is.
Is there something I'm missing? I guess this is quite simple task but can't have it working, thanks.

Hi.
You have a few options.
1 - you can enable find control, enter address, press get route button and get route
1a - you can enable autocomplete option (or in addition to find field), and it can be more easy enter address
2 - you can enable geolocation button, in this case the press that button - get the current position (by your IP)

Thanks for the reply,
that's what I did on my map but what I would really like is if the user would not have to press the button since the navigator is already asking if the user wants to be geolocated on the opening of the page.
+ not sure this is correct but when I click on the button, it locates ok but does not give me a route.
Thanks

Hi.
Then open Map details
Go to Geolocation tab
Set "Auto Positioning" field to yes.
In this case the map will be position to your current location (like pressing button)
And if you enable route feature it will draw route to your map center (set map center as your destination point)

Hey, thanks for your patience
We are getting close and I had the feeling of doing just that, however, the route still don't show up unless I do a search.
where exactly is the "route enabling feature", 'using the french version and don't see anything that would translate close enough. Is it the advanced options or geolocalisation.
My test is at studio-449.com/index.php/fr/test.
Thanks

Enable Route feature:
1
Open Map Details
Open Map Controls tab
The field "Find Control (geocoding)" - if you set it to yes, then routing will be enabled
The field "Draw route from search point to place" - yes or yes+find - means you can draw route from Find field (text field to find) - to map center
That case I suggested your in previous posts
2 - you can use not 1.
Open Map details
Open Places Library
set "Enable using Places" to yes
Radius set to 0
set "Show Autocomplete field" to yes
set "Show direction" to yes
3 - you can combine 1+2
In this case you can get find feature with autocomplete feature
