Hi, I "need" to load KLM files into the map to show routes already mapped. Can't figure out how to do this.
Otherwise very, very nice component. But: I need to load KLM files from my navigation system, to show covered routes.

        Hi.
There are 2 ways:
1 - if you want to show only one KML file, you can just upload to your server where it can be accesses, and write full URL to your file (with http:) in map details (map details tab, KML layer field)
2 - if more than one file, or if you set some options for it (zoom map to show all route, suppress infowin), just create path and enter information into KML layer tab
And look to section "Size and complexity restrictions for KML rendering"
developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/kmllayer

I had that, but thought it would work in the back-end. Now I just loaded the map via a menu and PRESTO! There it is!
Thanks a bunch, I will take it from here...

Aha. Do you want to have ability to use KML file in admin panel on maps (map, placemark, path)?

No, not really necessary. I just thought, that the map changed after I entered the coordinates, so it would also react to the KLM. When it didn't I didn't even think to try it on the front end. Silly me...
