Now the map is zooming instead of scrolling was created by Harlock
Hi Dmitry,
I installed and customized your Google Map solution a few weeks ago, with your great help !
After I struggled for a few days, I finally managed to do what I wanted to and got a satisfying result.
Then, I moved to other works on other pages and elements of the same site.
But 2 days ago, as I checked the Google Map page on this site again, the map was not behaving like it used to !
I mean I don't get the "press Command key to zoom" anymore, and the map is zooming out when I only want to scroll down the page.
Any idea of what happened ? A change from Google ? Am I the only one who got this ?
At first I thought this issue might be coming from some Firefox update or something, but I get the same problem in all my browsers.
Many thanks for your help !

Hi.
Check your map settings.
Map details -> Map Controls -> Scroll Wheel Zoom
I think you set it to yes. It means change zoom when you scrolls on the map.

OK, thank you, I can now scroll down the page without zooming the map.
I can't explain why my settings have changed
But I remember I had this dark layer for a few seconds telling me I could use Command key to zoom.
Has it gone ?

Hey there,
Sorry, here I am again, because I didn't get any answer to my previous message.
Any idea why I don't get this dark layer explaining how to zoom the page with the mouse anymore ?
I wondered if maybe Google had changed something recently, but those days I've seen Google Maps displaying this. So I guess it should be working.
I made this site I'm working on online, just to make some tests and I could see that this layer was displayed on my iphone (saying to use 2 fingers).
I tried to remove my CSS styles, but I get the same result.
Am I the only one to get this ? I mean it's really weird because it used to be working.
Or is it just some parameter that I missed in your component ?
Thanks.

Hi.
I checked Google Maps API docs. They added new parameter
"gestureHandling"
developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/interaction
I think you need it with "cooperative" value.
In a few days I'll add it to map details. Wait new release.

Thank you for your answer.
Well, if I got it right, this link is about tactile devices which seem to work fine for me.
The issue I'm talking about is happening in computer browsers.
Seems it's triggered by mousemove.
