Placemarks

Hi,

Is it possible to set up a placemark so when we hover over it the InfoBox appears and when we click on it we are taken to the URL?

Hi Mike

Yes, you can.

You can enter and enable hovering option on placemark details.
Enter Site URL for placemark and set Action by Click for that placemark to Open URL or Open URL in new page

Normally I understand your instructions first time but cannot in this instance.

I cannot see where to enter and enable hovering option on placemark details - is this in the Placemark menu?

I cannot see a hover item in Placemark Details?

To enable hovering - you should go to map details, of course. Because it enables for "all map"



As you can see on image, I use InfoBubble. You can customize it by defining Infobubble styles



You can use Infowin too, but you can't customize it

After that go to your placemarks. Open details and enter your HTML text

Thanks for the instructions. I have used InfoBox for now but as you can see when I make these settings the placemarks do not appear we just see a circle going around on the page.
