Getting error was created by anotart
Hi,

Since the recent update, I am getting an odd behavior.  I'm on Joomla 5.4.1 and Zh Google Map 20.25.11.25.  I will get this error: plgContentPlgZhGoogleMap::onContentPrepare(): Argument #1 ($event) must be of type Joomla\CMS\Event\Content\ContentPrepareEvent, Joomla\Event\Event given

If I disable Zh Google and clear the cache and then re-enable Zh Google, the site comes back and the map works (at the top of this page:  ekamria.com/portfolio ).  However, unexpectedly, I will get the error above and none of the site works.  If I go through the steps again, the map comes back -- until the error comes back again.

Do you know what I need to do to avoid this?

Thank you!

Hi

I did release and check it on last version J6 and J5 (5.1.3), and all work correctly. There is a big difference in plugin code for J6, but code for J4 was not changed a few years.

Lets fix your problem.

Download extension from JED.
Unzip it.
You will see plugin for J4: file plg_zhgooglemap_j4_10.25.11.10.zip

Install it, and I think all will be OK.

Thank you! Downgrading worked. Do you have any thoughts on why it isn't working on 5.4.1 on my site? I'm not sure how to go about troubleshooting. Or maybe I just need to say downgraded until I can move to J6?

Thanks for your help!

I think you can stay with downgraded plugin. I think I don't change it (for J4/J5/J6) until I need to fix some bugs.
Today I don't develop it (I did all features). Only support it, probably some changes in Joomla 6 can cause some changes in my extensions.

You can use extension manager to update my extensions - it supports this feature. You can update component, module. Package and plugin do not update, because it will upgrade plugin ;)

Today only one thing I want to do - in component options, enable JQuery loading by default, because J6 is not loading it by default.
