I tried your solution with additional HTML-Text...
If i insert {extravote <PlacemarkID>} for exampla {extravote 105}, nothing happens.
At the placemarks Infowin, {extravote 105} is displayed as text.

Doing the same at a joomla-article, it displays the 5Star-rating.

You should no tinsert {...} into Addition HTML.
insert iframe tag and enter URL to your article
