Change route line style in map with route

Hi Dima,

Another very nice feature that I really would love to use is the ability to change line style and color for a route. At this moment, only a solid line, standard blue color can be used to draw a route. I would very, very much love to be able to customize this : i.e. blue for car route, green for bike, red for walk, you get the idea.

The reason for this ? I use a lot of maps with routes on my USA travel site ( www.passion-usa.net , French and English available), and for a given day of travel, I would love to show things like "On this day, we drove from here to there, walked from here to there, rode the subway from here to there ..." and so forth.

I have absolutely no clue whether that's easy or hard to code, or even if it's feasible within the Google Maps API. But if it's feasible and you ever need a beta-tester, I'd be more than glad !

That being said, now that I've learned how to use this great extension within the Google Maps API constraints, I love it !

As I understand it, the updated plugin (4.2.2.0) is only available for J 3.x. Is this correct ?

If it's correct, then I need to update my site to J 3.x. I'm currently running 2.5.24, and I'm eager to test this enhancement !

Now I continue development only for j.3.x.

I wrote about this. It is because 2.5 stopped be supported in a week.

I tested the new plugin for J3, I easily found the 3 new fields in the route screen (line width, color, opacity) and I played with the 3 of them. But on my test site, none works. The line for each route is still default. Did I miss something ?
