Link to markers - trigger click

Sorry if I have overlooked this - could you tell me if it is possible to create a link next to a map (map module ideally) that when clicked zooms the map to the location of the relevant marker?

Ok.

I have a map with two markers on it, showing to location of two offices. On the contact us/find us page of the site, I have the addresses and details of each location, plus a query form, and the map. I would like users to be able to click on a link next to or part of each address, which will pan and zoom the map automatically to the location of the relevant office. Similar to clicking the marker when zoomed out with settings set to centre map and zoom.

Is that a little more clear? I'd imagine this is a fairly common thing?

You can use placemark list feature.
It can be bot only as a button on map. It can be displayed as list before, after map, as table an etc.
