Custom Google maps / MSID? was created by chrisjclay

        Hi Dmitry,
I need to make a map that has areas in different colours. I found out how to do it with Google Maps:
support.google.com/maps/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=62843
Here's a test one I made in which part of Vancouver displays in pink:
maps.google.ca/maps/ms?msid=200934990780...b03281b3b1f0dc&msa=0
It looks like each custom map is identified with an "MSID". Is it possible to make one of these custom maps and use it in Zh Google Map? If not, is there another way to add colours over top of certain parts of the map?
Cheers,
Chris Clay

        Hi.
You can add polygons at Paths tab, and fill your color.
The second way - you can use KML layers

Perfect, exactly what I was looking for. Thanks! Your component is by far the best map one I've come across
