No map shown with a joomlage template was created by othmar
Hi,
i tried to install the zh google component and plugin on a test joomla 2.5.2 site, created a simple map and it worked from the beginning.
I installed then the component and plugin on a production site www.tiravento.it , created a similar map, but no way to show it. Tried both with the plugin and a new menu voice.
The differences are: this site is multilanguage and has jomres that uses jquery libraries installed, tried with disabling this parts, but no way.
On a second trial i've identified the origin of the problem: there is another difference between the two systems: the template. If i apply the template of the working system to the not working, the map appears.
I upgraded the template with the version for joomla 2.5, so i'm not shure if it's an issue of the template or of the zh component.
Any suggestion?
kind regards,
othmar

Hi.
I visited www.tiravento.it/mappa
And the map is shown.
Can you create page where you apply your template and map is not shown.

Hi Dima,
thank you for your effords.
Yes, the map was in a page assigned to a different template.
Now i changed it back to the default template, so you can see the "non working" map.
kind regards,
Othmar

Hi,
Ill be following this thread, as I have the very same issue.
My site worked fine on j!1.7.X, and map was shown on an Artisteer template.
I then upgraded to J!2.5.2 and map dissapears.
Maps doesn't even show on the old Artisteer template...
(I have upgraded Artisteer to latest version, supporting J!2.5)
On i.e. templates Beez and Atomic, map shows fine...
Hope for a solution on this extremely fine map solution

Hi othmar and boomla.
I saw and check source, but can't find out cause yet.
To boomla: can you create page with not working map for me.
You can create temporary pages, which can't see unregistered users, but create for me user for week or two

Hi Dima,
The non-working map is accessible for all:
www.frispejderne.dk -> "Find vej til os" (left side menu)
or - direct:
www.frispejderne.dk/index.php?option=com...cle&id=94&Itemid=679
Do you want me to create a login for you after which you can see the two templates
(working, i.e. Beez and non-working, i.e. Artisteer?)
Thank you in advance
