Where to upload my own icon?

Would like to use our own icon (our logo bug) as a placemark icon. WHERE do I upload this? I am using Joomla 3.0

You should enter it into component asset icon folder, and if you enabled compatibility mode in component options - you have to copy it component site too.

I did read the docs and I thought I was uploading them in the right place.

In my file manager I've uploaded the icon camden#.png to the following directory:

components/com_zhgooglemap/assets/icons/

In the configuration of Zh googlemaps, I enabled compatability and compatible resource files.

Upon further reading (yeah , read the WHOLE paragraph ) i realized I had to also upload it to administrator/components....

So...solved and I have the perfect icons!
