Pan and Zoom Slider graphics garbled

Hello,

I am using Joomla 2.5. I've installed the latest version of GoogleMap component and plugin. The map shows up fine but the pan and zoom slider controls are only partly visible. Please see the attached. The callout box containing the name of the location is present but the leader graphic between the callout box and the location is also missing.

Is there something that I should be checking for? It appears that there is a graphics issue of some type. I've tried on multiple browsers and they all show the same thing.
