Elevation profile from KML was created by jrmann
Hi Dmitry,
I've not tried the elevation profile before. It works beautifully with a normal path (as shown on your demo), but it doesn't seem to work with a KML path. I've reduced the KML by taking away all points and polygons, leaving just a path, but it still won't work. Have you any suggestions, please?
Best regards, John

Hi John
You should set "Samples count (KML)" field more than 0
Explainations: I take this count of points from KML file to pass to elevations API. But not get a lot to get out your elevation API call limits, and get out of items for Elevation Diagram.

Hi Dmitry. I've tried that - in fact, I set it up that way to start with. I've also tried various "flavours" of kml - they all render OK as polylines, but no height profile, unfortunately.
Best regards,
John
