Changing maps settings globaly was created by victorio404
Hello,
Is there a way to control all maps settings globaly?
At the moment if I want to remove the mouse-scroll-zoom setting for example, have to open each map and change setting separately.
It would be useful if there was a way to copy settings from one map to multiple maps.

Hi
I only create common map parameters on menu item to override. If you can see - there are a lot of map options, and set it to be overridden it is not flexible (easy to use).
As for copy settings - you can create map copy. Open map details and press button - Save as Copy. You'll get the same map copy.

I'm using the content plugin to display the maps, so menu override is no use in my case. I know I can save as copy and I use that. But now i need to change some settings to already created maps(and will probably want to change some settings globally in future). The only way to change the settings(on already existing maps) is to open and change each map individually - is that right?

Yes, you are right.
You configure in component, and can show map by it, plugin and module.
You can change only some common map parameters when call - most of it - map objects (map content)

I've made mass settings change directly to the database tables
It would be useful to have option to use global map settings in the plugin or general component settings and individual map settings to override if needed.
