Fatal Error with 5.6.0.2 was created by topwebs
Am getting the following fatal error with 5.6.0.2:
[15-Aug-2014 08:46:01 America/Chicago] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined method JController::getInstance() in /home/addarts/public_html/components/com_zhgooglemap/zhgooglemap.php on line 21
I do not remember where I got that version, for the current download version is 5.6.0.1. When I try to reinstall 5.6.0.1 over 5.6.0.2, I get the Joomla error: There was an error uploading this file to the server.
The error is with Joomla 3.3.3 and php 5.4 or 5.5.

Actually with php 5.5 only, I was able to revert to 5.6.0.1 by reinstalling, which is working. The version 5.6.0.2 was an automatic update and is the one that has a fatal issue, please fix.

Hi.
There is no difference between 5.6.0.1 and 5.6.0.2
May be you have troubles to upload file up to 2M (check PHP settings).
I have 3.3.3 and last version of extension, and there is no problems.

Not sure what was going on, as I had the error on two sites. Today, I upgraded both to 5.6.0.2 again and everything is working fine.

But I didn't change anything again .
May be some problems with PHP settings, that fixed during that time
