K2 Integration Issues was created by quigley595
Hi folks,
the ZH Google map looks like a great product, but I am having a heck of a time getting it to work in the way I want.
I use Joomla 3.3.6, ZH Google 6.0.6.0 and K2.

If I put an entry into a K2 item, how can I get it to appear automatically on the Google map, or do I need to specifically create a PlaceMark for the new K2 item?

I will probably have other questions, but this is really the most pressing and immediate one.

How do I do this?
I have read the documentation, but just can't get it...... that's not a criticism.... its just that I am really struggling and this may all be due to my own ignorance!

I would be greateful for your assistance.

thanks,
Mike

Hi.

As for K2. In it's item you can use plugin.
As you can see in documentation there are different types of plugin call, it's depends on your call purposes.
Most of it - it is call map for predefined map objects, ie you have to enter data into component structures.

I use component to flexible configuration map and its objects.

The ONLY one case of plugin call, where you don't need enter any information into component, it is plugin call with GeoTag
Demo: joomla.zhuk.cc/index.php/zhgooglemap-demo-plugin-article-geotag
Docs: wiki.zhuk.cc/index.php?title=Zh_GoogleMa...w_map_for_an_article

In other cases you have to enter data into my component.

In far future I will do integration with articles more flexible (get position from fields (k2) or may be use new button in editors). It is time consuming to find out how to do and implement it.

Don't forget support my developments: post review in JED , donate , help with translation ;)
