Placemark on Multiple Maps

I have a situation where I would like to be able to associate a placemark with multiple maps. I have an overview map with all 19 of my locations on it. Then, for each locations page, I have a smaller map that just shows their area. I would like to be able to put the placemark on both maps without having to create a duplicate placemark for the local map.

For various reasons, just using the plug-in parameters to change center and zoom is not sufficient, I need to use a different map.

You can do it. You can show your placemarks by categories, groups, simple ID list, etc.

You can do it in component call (menu item properties), or call plugin with parameters (check my docs)

I have read the docs. What I'm missing is, in the plugin, the ability to show map by placemark and specify Map Id. This option only appears in Show Map by Category, Group, and List. I need it for individual placemark.

PlacemarkList - list of placemarks ID, you can enter any number of placemarks, and only one too

I realized I could define the placemark to the local map and use the display category on the bigger map. I had it the other way around.

Yes. Or you can show your placemarks by it's ID, ie just write it and say to show on map which you want to show.
Ie you create:
1 - placemarks 1,2,3,4,5 on map 1
2 - placemarks 10,23,345 on map 2
3 - empty map 3

You can show placemarks 1,10,4 on map 3 - just call plugin to show by placemark list

You can also assign different categories to your placemarks and show by category list
