404 error with component was created by juanra0
Hi,
I have downloaded the zhgooglemaps component for my website.(Joomla 2.5) Installed the component and created a basic map for it. When I assign it to a menu item I get the following error msg.
404 Not found.
The requested URL /pretoria-map.html was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
I used phocamap component before I wanted to use this, but I uninstalled phocamaps before installing your component.
Please help I want to get this to work.
Thank you,
Juan

I don't know. May be you shoud try to recreate menu item. May be site or browser cache.
Create menu item, select Zh GoogleMap-Map.
Select your map and all would be OK.
You can give me access to your site for a day or two if you have any difficulties.

May be you have menu item, which is alias to other menu, and the other menu points to old page.
Ie - you have 2 menus - left and top. Top - alias for left.
And you have incorrect links

hi,
I looked at that and changed it. The first one I created was just called map to test, and didn't work so I tried changing it to something else. Now what I did was create the link in another menu (main) and still the same problem.
