I've done new release.
Now it will work. More over, now compatibility mode is changed, there are 3 values
- MooTools
- Internal
- JQuery

By default - mootools (it was No), but joomla is not supports it. Internal - it was (Yes).
And new JQuery - it is done by JQuery

As for gray color of groups.
You can manage in your template override styles for groups.
When you disable your div, in which the map is, you can access by css, like div.class map_div group_div
