Application access the administrator area

In my Joomla installation, to increase the security, I put a password on the administrator folder.
Unfortunately I noticed that the ZhGooglemap component access the administrator area also when used on the front-end. This cause the fron t end application to show the protection login form, making it not usable.
Do you have any idea on how to bypass this problem without having to remove the password protection. is it normal that the front end application access something that resides in the administrator folder? thhanx
