Image as link

Is it possible to link to an image rather than just text when using the lightbox. So in the plugin rather than typing text for the link, I can specify an image path.

I'm not clear understand you.

You can show map in light box

And if you fill Title parameter, you can see text link.
If you fill Image parameter (copy your image into specific folder, and check into what (admin or site) - it depends on "Compatibility mode for Resource files" parameter of component, you'll see image as a link to map.

You can set Title and/or Image parameters.
If you skip Title and Image - I'll add predefined text.
