Is it possible to do?

I have a quick little question if you don't mind..

Say I make a new map with categories, placemark group and placemarks. The map is being rendered in an article by using the plugin linke this: {zhgooglemap:1;12}. Everything is working so far! Here is my question..

Instead of using the map to select and showing placemark info ONLY, can this be done with a button (i.e. below the map itself perhaps)..?

This could of course be very handy is you show an entire country, but want to set states or regions using buttons or links..

Clicking on it - open placemark details.
