Bulk edit description in popup

Not sure if this can be done? I'm looking for a way to bulk edit the description in a group's pop up. In other words, I would like to edit the html description a placemark's popup in a certain group. I hope this explanation makes sense.

I don't know reason to have the same description for placemarks.

Today you can only do this by SQL, just simple update placemark table clause with restriction by group ID (in addition to this by map)

The idea is, is to add a link or additional info to a group's placemark popup without having to add it manually especially when you have over a 1000 placemarks.
