Slow loading map

Thought I will run this by you first. My site is loading fast, except for the global map. I'm trying to find a way to speed it up. I ran a test and attached a screenshot.

I'm also using the JCH Optimize plugin and asked them what the problem may be. Their response is below:

"I performed a quick check using Joomla!'s debug on the myrvbuddy.com/rv-map page and found that the mod_zhosmmap module took nearly 3 seconds just to render:

This is why that page is taking so long to load. There isn't anything this plugin or any other plugin can do to help that, you'd need to talk with the developer of this module to see if he can make it perform better or you'd need to use another extension to achieve what you want."

First thing it is I'm on development stage to load placemarks dynamically, ie by AJAX requests. I hope I'll find time to do it in this month.

As for optimization plugin and etc, in component options you can set "Load delay" to your value, in this case map initialization call will be with your delay in milliseconds

I think main delay can be caused by many placemarks, because it gives page source size. When I implement dynamic loading placemarks - it will not have any page source addition, because it will be.called after page loading.

That will be great if you can add this to your development this month because I have several thousand markers on the map in the near future.

Will it help if I resize the markers for faster load time for the time being?

Today you can enable ajax loading its content. It will decrease page size.

Go to advanced options for map and set dynamically loading placemark content

I see " Loading content data dynamically" > choose from "JQuery or " Mootools"

OR

"Loading map objects dynamically" > Only "no" as an option.

Can you please advise.
