        Hi.
It is a little bit hard to tell.
The main thing - Google Maps API now has limits to free using, go to google maps and check it.
And due to this reason I started a year ago extension for OSM.
The main thing that I don't implement it in OSM - directions, routes. But I already found library to do that. But for this feature you need as described for library

Sorry! The OSRM demo server appears down, or a network error occured.
This prevents Leaflet Routing Machine from displaying a route. The demo server will hopefully be back up soon. Please do not report this as an issue, Leaflet Routing Machine has no control over the demo server.
In production, set up your own OSRM instance, or pay a service provider.

And today I implemented a lot of features, which is no in my Google's extension - custom KML or GPX parser, visualization, overview article and k2 items map...

        Thank you, Dima!
It will great to have directions, routes in the Openstreet map. Seems to me I will stick to OSM.
Yes, I have one Google map running and I had to hide it behind a payment wall because of Google's fees. Unfortunately, I have to use Google's map.
