Select an article category

It is possible to display the categories of articles next to the map, in the way they appear as placemarks (per groups). That is, each category of articles should be a "group". This will allow a user to choose which category (s) will appear on the map.

But for what feature for map and articles do you mean? Probably it is not your case.

Sorry for the delayed response, but here in Greece we have big fires now and everyone here must help to protect our land and forests.
What I mean is this: I use Article Overview Map to display geo-referenced articles on a map. These articles are divided into several categories. Can I make something like this in the photos? If not is there a case to be added as a functionality in the future? I think it is very useful.
