I will try the plugin as it seems it may do what i want from a different way.

however I think you was mus-understanding what I was saying about the module. I can see your placemark list can be displayed in any place as part of a map what I was meaning was the placemark menu being available as separate module so only the placemark list would be shown even when no map is shown.

But in your case - only placemark list - you can't do that.
It is in my plans, but not nearest

If you have a little placemark list - you can create simple ul-list and by li-tag call, for example, separate page with plugin/component/module. Or call plugin to show map in lightbox

I think you understand me on the module item. Basically what you are explaining is in Zh googlemap what you can display using the component you can also do using the plugin in an article and in a module position.

I think its me confusing you with the lightbox item as well

I can see using the plugin how to display a map in a lightbox but thats not what i want to do.

I have a map with placemarks and i want to be able to open a url in an iframe lightbox when clicking a placemark.

So to explain i have a page domain.com/url that displays a panorama. On my map i have a placemark at the point where the pano was taken. Clicking the placemark I can open the url but it opens a new page and i want to display the page in a lightbox so it stays part of the site.

If you want to open URL by clicking on placemark - you can do it.
Open placemark details
In "Appearance properties" slider enter your URL into field "URL Site"
And set "Action by Click" to "Open Link" or "Open Link on new page"

That's all

Thats what i am doing but opening a new page takes them off the site
