but
can i upload my kml or kmz files to a map?
I send you files on kml viewer online

You can create "path" map object and add your KML/GPX layer on appropriate tab

Thanks for your support, but I didn't understand correctly

can I create a map by uploading my kml or gpx file? and if yes like me on the map form i see a kml layer field and i don't upload kml or something

you have 2 cases
#1
- create simple map
- display it (by menu, or by module or plugin)
- you can see simple map
- create path, enter title, assign map.
-- on KML Layer tab enter full URL to your KML file
-- you can apply change map zoom to show all your path on map
-- you can suppress infowin when click on path
- you can see map with KML file


#2
- create simple map
- on Map Details tab enter full URL to your KML file
- display it (by menu, or by module or plugin)
- you can see simple map with KML file
- you can't control fit bounds (zoom) and suppress infowin


#1 - you can display any count of paths (KML files) on one map
#2 - you can display only 1 path (KML file) on one map

You write question in Zh GoogleMap extension.
This extension uses Google Maps API.
And you can add any map layer like
joomla.zhuk.cc/index.php/zhgooglemap-mai...n-map-with-osm-layer

It is not very hard,
here docs (written when joomla was 2.5)

It also show in map types OpenStreetMap map type

Read the next post about predefined map types.

But you need to know about Google Maps API limits to show maps.

You can also use my other extension Zh OpenStreetMap.
It has no limits, but it is OpenStreetMap, uses open source library (leaflet). You can check my demo pages for it
