As for nested divs
If you can't see map, then check your template divs. You can open page source and check template divs from top level to div where map is.
I mean, if you have in your template
You have to set for x1 and x2 height=100%, ie for each nested divs you have to set it, in other case it collapsed and you don't get the map.
You can try to apply for your page with map my template for full screen map (it is installed when you install my packaged extension).
Most of templates do not process map div with 100% height, because common case - your divs containts text data, and they collapsed to it's size. As for map - initially it is empty (while map is not loaded), and its collapsed at all. And after map is loaded, the dvis doesn't change it's size.

I don't think so.
Here my demo page
joomla.zhuk.cc/index.php/zhgooglemap-mai...-feature-full-screen
In your case - try to change menu item - not call single article with plugin call. Call menu item type Map

Sorry, but I didn't understand you.
It is not cutted. It is centered, but it has less width due to your mobile screen size. It doesn't change zoom to show the same area for different screen resolution.
