I compared component and moduke call (you call module).

And the code is the same. It can change default map type.

But on your page I can't see the string

Code:

google.maps.event.addListenerOnce(map,'idle',function(){map.setMapTypeId('GoogleEarthAPI')});

which will change to Earth Map type
